[HISTORY:]
Established in 1996, Axis Music began as a modest, four-studio guitar instruction center. Over the following few years, founder John Antone breathed life into what is now known as Axis Music Academy, expanding to over 10 other instruments, 12 lessons studios, and office space. Since 2000, two new academies and an outbound teaching program have been added. Axis currently boasts a team of over 40 top instructors at your service, 7 days a week. Axis Music Institute (in Canton and coming soon to Macomb) is Michigan’s first and only licensed and certified trade school program for music.
[METHOD:]
We developed a modern, proprietary method to teach you everything you need to know in order to become a great musician. Our primary goal is to help you reach your own goals. While maintaining all the necessary elements of proper music education, we deliver a fun and effective learning experience by customizing the content of each lesson just for you.
[FACILITIES:]
Our academies are always clean, organized, well-lit, and comfortable. No more basements, dark warehouses, or back rooms, and equally importantly, no distractions or sales pitches while you’re learning to play. All the music materials and gear you need are available to you at any time. We use only state-of-the-art equipment, technology, and learning tools, from books to digital music to electronics.
