Hi! I am David Wojcik, the owner of Weegee Hair Studio. In the past two decades, Weegee has become one of the most respected brands in hairdressing in the greater Ann Arbor area. My diverse and loyal clientele has voted year after year to name Weegee the best or runner up hair salon in Washtenaw County in the Current Magazine annual survey. I take great pride in my craft and strive to offer each client an unsurpassed level of personalized, expert service. Client satisfaction is the paramount objective; the focus is always on you.
My experience besides formal training in hair design also includes an apprenticeship with a styles director of the Vidal Sassoon Salon on Bond Street in London. Early in my career, prior to establishing my own salon in Ann Arbor, I had a chance to work and continue informal training at a number of salons around Europe and the United States, including Vidal Sassoon of London, Chicago, and Santa Monica; Jingles of London; La Coupe of Montreal; Allan Edwards of Beverly Hills; Toni & Guy of London.

What sets Weegee Hair Studio apart is meticulous attention to detail. I listen to the client and engage you in the creative process to achieve an inspiring hair style that suits your personality and lifestyle. In hairdressing, creativity and technical accuracy is not enough. A client expects quality, consistency, and personal attention. Creativity alone could sometimes just reflect a hairdresser's whim. This could be disappointing for the client if a unique and creative style, no matter how well done, doesn't suit them. A hairdresser's vision has to embrace the client's bone structure, style, concerns, and desires - this approach is essential to creating a great hairstyle.

We're located between the University of Michigan Campus and Downtown Ann Arbor. The Salon is 2 blocks from the University of Michigan Law School and 1 block off of State Street.
At our location, there is consistently available 2 hour metered parking on Thompson St. around the corner from us. Also, the Maynard Street Parking Structure (by Border's) is 1/2 block away for longer stays. There is also a U of M gold & blue parking lot directly behind the salon.
